OUR STORY

Where every meal
begins with a journey

Sister Moon takes its name from the moon that guides journeys, marks time and brings people together after dark.

THE IDEA

The restaurant began with a series of meals that were impossible to forget.

A favourite late-night table. An unforgettable market. Music spilling onto the street. The smell of charcoal and fresh herbs. Cold beer. Shared plates. The energy of a city after sunset.
Those memories became the foundation — not copied, but reinterpreted. Captured in the cooking, the atmosphere and the music. Understood rather than reproduced.

THE CHEF

Sam Grainger has spent years travelling through South East Asia, discovering unforgettable flavours in bustling markets, roadside kitchens & late-night noodle shops.

The menu at Sister Moon reflects those journeys — ingredients, flavours and techniques discovered across the region, interpreted with confidence and care. Nothing feels forced. Nothing feels theatrical. Everything feels considered.

The restaurant exists because of the cooking. Everything else supports that.
