Accessibility

At Treehouse Manchester, we want everyone who visits the Treehouse Manchester website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding. We are committed to providing a website that is accessible, inclusive and easy to use for all visitors.

How can you use this website?

We have designed our website so that you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings;
  • zoom in up to 400% without content becoming difficult to read or use;
  • navigate most of the website using only a keyboard;
  • navigate the website using speech recognition software;
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader; and
  • access content on a range of devices, screen sizes and assistive technologies.

What are we doing?

To help us make the Treehouse Manchester’swebsite a positive place for everyone in accordance with recognised accessibility standards and best practice, we consider the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for Treehouse Manchester’s website.

How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Treehouse Manchester’s website and we aim for the website to meet WCAG Level AA standards. Accessibility is an ongoing process and we regularly review and improve the website to identify and address accessibility issues.

The website is regularly reviewed using a combination of automated and manual accessibility testing.
